Interaction & Immersion in Video games
I am a graduated sound designer from Sonic College, Denmark. But I am more than just that. I am result oriented, structured and I like to get things done. I am passionate about my craft, with a drive towards improving myself, my abilities and my products. I am a person who loves to learn new things and teach what I know. I love to collaborate and have communication be part of my everyday life. I appreciate criticism and feedback and I understand that if you want to make something good, you need to be able to take a step back and welcome the constructive input of others. I am a person who really loves to do, what I do best.
Professional Bachelor's Degree in Media & Sonic Communication from Sonic College
Sonic College is a 3,5-year broad study of sound design. The education is qualifying the students to be capable of independently produce, coordinate and manage, communication- and marketing tasks in companies and organizations, with special emphasis on the use of audio, information and media. The courses are spread across three different disciplines; production, sonic communication and business management. My elective courses were Game Audio and 3D-audio. My bachelors project is about How to create a game audio pipeline that streamlines and optimizes workflow and game audio implementation. The project can be found in my portfolio under the videogames category.
Bachelor's Degree Programme in Musicology and Film & Media from Aarhus Univeristy
Musicology at AU is an analytically, theoretically, practical and communicative study of music. Music is understood as a historical and cultural phenomenon, regarding how we use music and what impact it does on media, communication, identity and social media. Film & Media is a one year supplementary subject, studying film and media from historical, theoretical, analytical and practical angles. My bachelor’s project is about How audio influences the interactive qualities of video games and how this contributes to the player’s immersion. The project can be found in my portfolio under the videogames category.
