The game is made as a one week project in the course dynamic audio design. A Unity 3D project with a path system and various scripts were given in advance. The assignment was to create an idea, design the level, create and implement sound design.
My main auditory focus was to create an evolving music score. The purpose is to inform the player about progress and direction using music and soundscape. While creating the setting and atmosphere.
Since the gameplay is “linear”, it was important for me to exploit the different states in the game, to give the player a better feeling of interaction. E.g. the screams when getting close to the border of the path. The horns when jumping on the platforms. The stinger and shift in mood when jumping back onto the path, from the platforms.
